First Accommodation – Irish Two-Storey house

Danny’s Old Shop is an old Irish two-storey house, where tradition and contemporary fuse effortlessly.
The house has been lovingly restored, and is decorated with art by local artists, and furnishings from our travels. It’s relaxed, cosy atmosphere will quickly help you to unwind. It’s an ideal escape for a romantic weekend or a family break.
Located on the main road from Achill Sound to Keem Bay and a 5 minute drive from Keel beach, you’ll never be stuck for something to do. The nearest bar and cafe are a 5 minute stroll, and Dookinella beach is approximately a 15 minute walk.
To avail of the stunning Achill light and views over Minaun cliffs and Keel bay, the living quarters are situated upstairs. The space comprises of an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. It also has a small office, and a guest toilet. The bedrooms (master en suite, twin room and single room) are located downstairs. There is also a large bathroom complete with bathtub – perfect for a soak after a dip in the ocean! The two porches are ideal for storing bikes, surf gear or any other equipment you bring with you. While there is no TV, there is wifi throughout the house.
Heating comes from a solid fuel stove, and there is an additional hot water heater. Fuel for the stove is provided. We also have electric heaters on timers so that the house is cosy as soon as you wake up!
We provide free surfboard or bodyboard hire in the afternoons.
Please feel free to bring your canine friends, however as this is our home, please do not allow them to sit on the couch or beds.
Guests have access to the entire house and garden.
Second Accommodation – The Mews

The Mews is a cosy, west coast bolthole situated in the idyllic surrounds of Achill Island. It boasts both ocean and mountain views, and is the perfect location for a relaxing break. Located on the main road from Achill Sound to Keem Bay and a 5 minute drive from Keel beach, you’ll never be stuck for something to do. The nearest bar and cafe are a 5 minute stroll, and Dookinella beach is approximately a 15 minute walk. To avail of the stunning Achill light and views over Minaun cliffs and Keel bay, the living quarters are situated upstairs. The space comprises an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The bedrooms (double room, single room and convertible single room) are located downstairs. There is also a large bathroom complete with a bathtub – perfect for a soak after a dip in the ocean! The back porch looks out at the garden, and features a comfy armchair for reading or (on occasion!) sunbathing. While there is no TV, there is wifi throughout the house.
